Strohfiedel (German)

The Strohfiedle (or strohfiddle) is a derivative of the Vielle-a-Roux or hurdy gurdy and has a crank and wheel for bowing the strings and a fingerboard for stopping the strings. It was less common than the Vielle-a-Roux.
